The potential for a Tornado Threat is one of the more alarming parts of Debby’s visit. There will be flash flooding across the state, but make sure to monitor the news and all National Weather Service media outlets in case of the development of a Tornado Threat or a change in the state’s emergency status.

It’s always good to be prepared for the worst. Check out the National Weather Service’s Hurricane Plan and brush up on your hurricane etiquette.

NADA Century Award: 100 Years In the Industry

The NADA offers one very prestigious award to very few dealerships. This is possibly the most impressive accomplishment a single business can achieve; Keep your doors open for 100 Years. Doing this will earn you eligibility to receive the NADA Century Award.

The criteria is simple:

1. The dealership must be a member of NADA.

2. The dealership must have been in the retail transportation business for at least 100 continuous years.

Obviously this is much easier said than done. Currently well under 100 dealerships have earned this award, and only one Maryland dealer has found themselves on that list: Pohanka Automotive Group

Once your time has come, and you are crossing that 100 year milestone, you can apply to join the ranks of century old dealers on the NADA website by using the form below:

Things are looking incredible for the United States as we lead the world in gold, silver, AND bronze medal counts. With 3 days left, there are still plenty of events to take place and medals to fight for.
