Remembering Those Lost Through Art

A Dallas artist traveled to Maryland shortly after the Key Bridge collapse to honor the six workers who lost their lives in the incident by creating an amazing memorial (seen above). Six crosses, one for each of the deceased, accompany the mural along with flowers and candles.

The artist Roberto Marquez regularly travels to sites of tragedies around the world, using his art to help people remember victims, mourn and heal. He encourages the community to add to the memorial.

Tale or Truth: The Reality Behind Age Old Car Myths

We’ve heard them all before; Don’t pump gas with the car on! Don’t drive barefoot! Be good or Santa will put used spark plugs in your stocking!

Ok maybe the last one was just me. However, many of these classic adages have outlived their relevance in today’s automotive landscape. Learn below what to believe and what to disregard by clicking the button. You might just learn something (I certainly did).

IT’S THE O’S

Let’s Go O’s!

The Baltimore Orioles show a very promising start to their 2024 season despite their loss to the Angels two days ago after a 2-0 run with the team. The winning margins were considerably lower than the previous games with Baltimore only getting 3 total base hits. Certainly an off day for the team. However, if the 23-6 Spring Training record is any foreshadow of the upcoming season, we are looking at a great year to be an O.

The Royals are up next, and things are looking favorable for the O’s. We head into tomorrow’s game fresh off a 6-4 win in Kansas City.

Check out the highlights from 3/28’s electric game against the Angels. If this doesn’t get you revved up for the season, I don’t know what will!
